Because of the challenges national missionaries face, we are pleased to announce some new opportunities for partnering with brothers and sisters from other countries.
Latin America: Sandra Arellanes
Sandra is LEI’s first national missionary from Mexico and we give thanks and glory to God for how he has already been working powerfully through her life and ministry. Sandra grew up in a church-going family but never knew God personally or intimately through Jesus Christ. But at the age of 18, she had an encounter with the Lord that drastically altered her life’s course. Little by little, God began calling her into the ministry and giving her a passion for other people and other cultures. Sandra has spent time living and or ministering in Canada, Sweden, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Thailand, and Myanmar (Burma).
Currently, Sandra is serving her own people in Mexico through Spanish literacy and through English Language ministry. She is also helping to equip other literacy church leaders in Latin America through Literacy Training Institutes, which raise up other national leaders to start literacy ministries in their own area so that both Christians and non-Christians are impacted by the living Word of God. Please consider supporting the Lord’s calling on Sandra’s life through financial gifts and fervent prayer.
